Note types help better standardize creating notes across your organization. You can create templates for treatment plans, medical history, disclaimer information, or any other commonly used note types, and provide all therapists and admins within your clinic a common set of templates to use on the Greenspace platform. This article will walkthrough how to create, modify, and use Note Templates.
Please note: Creating or modifying note templates are only available for admins with the Manage Note Templates permission. All admins and therapists within a clinic can use previously created templates when creating notes.
Standard Note Types
By default, there are six different types of notes available to all clinics on Greenspace. The owner of the Clinic Account and any Admin with the correct permissions can view, and customize the clinic's note types from their Clinic Settings.
Note Type | Description |
Session Notes | Session notes are notes taken for the purpose of documenting or analyzing the content of a conversation during a therapy session. |
Event Notes | You can create event notes to record brief observations to be overlayed onto the patient's results display. This feature might be used to note medication changes, significant life events or other relevant items to contextualize a patient’s results. Event notes are visible on the note summary page and overlayed on the progress graphs in a client's results display. Note: Patients are able to view event notes. Please see below for more information. |
Contact Notes | Therapists can use contact notes to reflect on communication with their patients. Entries may include details on scheduling, follow-ups, and logistics. |
Supervision Notes | Supervision notes are notes used for the purpose of documenting a therapist's interaction with a supervisor or supervisee regarding a patient. |
Documents | Therapists can use the document type to upload and store additional files such as administrative documents, patient assignments, medical records, and audio files. Multiple files can be uploaded within one document. |
Treatment Summary | A treatment summary can be used for the purpose of summarizing a patient's treatment or planned treatment. This note is flexible and can be used before, during or after a patient's course of treatment. |
Event Notes
Event notes can be used to provide more context to the assessment scores presented on the Results display. Event notes are overlayed on top of each results graph and are automatically shared to patients with accounts. Event notes can only be created by a therapist. Common uses include noting medication changes, significant life events or other relevant items to contextualize a patient’s results.
