Managing Tags by Episodes

The Multiple Episodes of Care feature is currently in Beta and only available to some customers.

The Tags by Episodes feature allows you to assign tags to every episode of care. All tags (except account tags e.g. No Account, Account Complete, Account Pending, Archived, Child) will now be applied at the episode level.

Assigning Tags

When creating a new patient, you can add tags in the ‘Add Patient’ form. These tags will be automatically applied the patient’s first episode.

When starting subsequent episodes, you will see all the tags added in the previous episode. You can remove or add any tags relevant to the new episode.

Managing Tags

You can view or update tags for each episode by navigating to the in the ‘Manage Episodes’ tab in each patient’s profile.

Tags on the Patient List

In your patient list, only tags applied to the active or most recent episode will be displayed.

Tags removed or added on the patient list will only affect the most recent episode.

However, if you filter the list by specific tag(s), patients with the tag(s) assigned to past episodes will still appear.
